Field And Civil Engineering are regularly asked to construct new or extend existing car parks. Often the customer ask us to design the car park to fit the maximum number of spaces into a restricted specific area.
The construction of the numerous car parks we have completed has varied tremendously, with the finished surface varying from traditional tarmac, concrete or block paved surface to cellular pavers with either a gravel or seeded grass finish. The project size has ranged from a few spaces on a local playing field for a Parish Council to 700 spaces servicing a head office of an international travel company.
Usually part of our remit on a car park project also requires the completion of its surface water drainage scheme, which often includes the installation of an underground water storage facility, a flow control chamber and a petrol interceptor. The completion works also often include marking of the parking bays and a new or improved lighting scheme.
Field and Civil Engineering offer the full turnkey service to construct any car park from start to finish.
