Roads, sewers and foundation works for housing development project September 4th 2017, by Ian Lishman

FACE were delighted to be chosen in supporting Taylor Wimpey with the construction of 200 family homes at Oxclose Park Road & Deepwell Mews, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The site lies within the Sheffield suburb of Halfway, inside the City Council’s authoritative area and was granted Outline Approval for housing on 26th June 2015.

These two to four bedroom homes have been proposed as part of Taylor Wimpey’s Reserved Matters planning application, which will serve to provide the local community with affordable homes that incorporate green open space and improve the existing footpath network and cycle route.

The development will also be situated approximately 6.5 miles to the south east of the city centre and has good access to the M1 Motorway, which is around 3 miles to the east of the site.

FACE offered Taylor Wimpey a full turnkey package as part of the proposed development, which consists of road construction, sewer and foundation works, through to 278 highways and groundworks. FACE will be on-hand from the very start of construction through to putting the primary foundations in place, with the inclusion of plot drainage to connecting the drains to the main roads.

FACE were chosen due to their well known reputation and ability to deliver the proposed requirements effectively, efficiently and on time, and most importantly with safety at the forefront of their actions.

Regardless of size and technical requirements involved, FACE’s philosophy remains the same: to be honest, ethical and genuine whilst keeping customers as satisfied as possible with all work carried out.
